Roma's veteran goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis has signed a one-year contract extension to stay with the club until June 2016.
After joining the Giallorossi last July, the Italian's contract was due to run out at the end of this season, but the extension means that he will remain with Roma until the age of 39.
The 37-year-old is keen to see his career out at the Stadio Olimpico and is determined to help his side battle with Juventus for the title.
"This is a big responsibility. Just as I've done in the year-and-a-half I've been here already, I'll try to make this time satisfying," De Sanctis said, according to Goal.com.
"I want to make the fans happy as well as the coach, who really listens to us.
"At this point in my career, if I can keep up a certain level of performance every year then I'm happy to continue. I have to be aware during training if I'm able to continue because I want to end my career in the best possible way."
The goalkeeper has previous Serie A experience after playing for Juventus, Napoli and Udinese before making his way permanently to the capital.
