Sheffield United striker Chris Porter has admitted that it was an easy decision to sign a new deal with the League One club.
The 30-year-old penned a one-year contract extension at Bramall Lane on Monday.
Despite claiming that other clubs were interested in his services, Porter has revealed that he always wanted to stay with the Blades.
"I haven't looked elsewhere, despite a bit of interest from other clubs. Once I knew there was an offer on the table I was keen to extend my stay at Sheffield United," he told the club's official website.
"This is a city where I want to live, the club is going places and I want be part of something special here.
"I could have moved on for more money, but that isn't what drives me. I'm a loyal person and I am happy in Sheffield."
Porter scored 11 goals in 41 games for United last season.
