Everton midfielder Ross Barkley has had his loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday extended on a week-to-week basis.
The 18-year-old has appeared seven times for the Owls since joining on an initial one-month loan, but it had been reported that Everton would recall the youngster.
However, according to the BBC, the three parties have all agreed for the talented midfielder to remain at the Championship club under a youth loan arrangement.
Barkley scored his first senior goal for the club last month and is regarded as one of the best young talents in English football.
Wednesday currently occupy 22nd spot in the Championship table.
