Stoke City defender Andy Wilkinson has encouraged the club's supporters to renew their season tickets for the next campaign.
Recent reports have suggested that a number of fans are in two minds as to whether or not they will attend the Britannia Stadium on a regular basis next year, with some having raised concerns over the club's current run of form.
However, despite admitting that he can understand the frustration, Wilkinson has insisted that the players need the supporters to get behind them.
"If the fans sign up and we know they are going to be there next season, it will push us on for the rest of this season," he told The Sentinel. "It's understandable, but if we can get a win on Saturday against West Brom we can push on and get a good finish to the season.
"We need to stick together, work together and get the fortress back at the Britannia. The fans are a massive part of that."
The Potters sold 22,000 season tickets last season.
