Pepe Mel: 'I haven't considered leaving West Bromwich Albion'

West Bromwich Albion head coach Pepe Mel insists that he hasn't considered resigning from his position at The Hawthorns.

West Bromwich Albion head coach Pepe Mel has insisted that he has never doubted his side's desire to turn around their poor run of form.

The Baggies haven't won a Premier League match since New Year's Day, but Mel, who arrived at the club shortly after that game, has stated that he has not considered bringing an end to his short spell at The Hawthorns.

When asked about whether he has considered his future, Mel told the Express & Star: "No, because I think the players do want to win and compete.

"The only thing that they're lacking is confidence because they're not achieving this. I see them working from Monday to Friday so I go into the game feeling perfectly calm."

Mel takes his team to face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
