Wolverhampton Wanderers have suggested that the club-record permanent signing of Mexican striker Raul Jimenez is imminent.
The 27-year-old joined the Midlands outfit on a season-long loan from Benfica last summer and has been instrumental in the club's impressive rise to seventh in the Premier League, contributing 12 goals and seven assists.
In all competitions, Jimenez has scored past Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur this campaign, putting him on course for the most prolific season of his career to date.
Wolves are thought to have a unilateral option to purchase the player at the end of the season for a fee of £30m and in a cryptic video on Twitter, the club hinted that an announcement will be made to confirm the news on Thursday.

Wolves' current transfer record stands at £18m, a figure paid last August to bring in Adama Traore from Middlesbrough.
