Hull KR 23-22 Warrington

A late drop goal from Michael Dobson gives Hull KR a 23-22 victory over Warrington Wolves

Hull KR have beaten Warrington Wolves 23-22 at New Craven Park after completing an unlikely second half comeback.

A fast start from Warrington put Hull on the back foot immediately as tries from Gareth O'Brien, Ben Westwood and Chris Riley built up an early lead for Wolves with Brett Hodgson adding goals to all three scores.

Josh Hodgson got Hull's first try of the match midway through the first half but a second of the game from Riley ensured Warrington held a big lead at the break.

A superb display from Hull in the second period gave the hosts a great chance of completing a famous comeback.

Tries from Michael Dobson, Sam Latus and Craig Hall along with three goals from Dobson, levelled the match heading into the final stages.

A well-worked move in the 74th minute created space for Dobson and he completed a superb personal performance by kicking a drop goal to give Hull the win.
