Brazil playmaker Ronaldinho wants to see Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Santos striker Neymar playing in the same team.

Brazil playmaker Ronaldinho has claimed that "it would be very beautiful" to see Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Santos striker Neymar playing in the same team.

Neymar, who is regarded as the hottest property in world football, is expected to move to Europe following the completion of the 2014 World Cup.

A host of European clubs have registered an interest in the 20-year-old, but according to various reports, Barcelona are the favourites to acquire his signature from Santos.

"I was happy for Messi, who is a great friend, and is deserving of everything that is happening to him. I imagine that the two can play together because they are among the best in the world. It would be very beautiful to see them together," he told reporters.

Ronaldinho is in the Brazil squad for Wednesday's international friendly against England.
