Bayern Munich play down Kingsley Coman injury

Bayern Munich reveal that the injury picked up by Kingsley Coman on international duty is "nothing serious" ahead of their return to Bundesliga action.

Bayern Munich have played down the injury picked up by Kingsley Coman during the international break.

Coman, who has quickly become a key member of Pep Guardiola's squad since arriving from Juventus on a two-year loan in the summer, was taken off in the first half as France Under-21s claimed a 2-1 win over Scotland in a European Championship qualifier at the weekend.

It was soon revealed that a thigh injury was the problem, but the club have revealed that the winger does not face an extended spell on the sidelines.

Bayern visit Werder Bremen on Saturday before making the trip to North London to take on Arsenal in the Champions League next Tuesday.
