Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has heaped praise on his side following their performance during the 5-0 thrashing of Everton at Stamford Bridge this evening.
The Blues climbed to the top of the Premier League table with a comprehensive victory over Ronald Koeman's side, making it five wins in a row without conceding a goal.
Eden Hazard scored twice in a man-of-the-match display, and Conte reserved special praise for the Belgian, in addition to Marcos Alonso, who opened his account for the club.
"It was a good performance, I am pleased. I think we played good football, we created chances to score and kept a fifth clean sheet in a row," he told BT Sport.
"I am pleased for the players, they were fantastic. We must continue to work hard. Eden Hazard played an impressive game. We all know he is a talented player, I see he is working a lot for the team and his teammates are very happy for this. He must continue, he is showing his talent in every game.
"It wasn't easy for Marcos Alonso to arrive in England, change leagues, so I am very happy for him. It is fantastic to be top of the league, today it was important to play and to win."
Chelsea are now the league's highest scorers and have found the back of the net 16 times since they last conceded.
