Chelsea are reportedly close to securing the future of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who has been on loan at Atletico Madrid for the last three seasons.
The 21-year-old's long-term Chelsea future has been under scrutiny after he emerged as one of the brightest goalkeeping talents in La Liga.
Despite the shot-stopper being linked with a switch to Real Madrid, Courtois is close to agreeing a two-year extension at Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Mail.
Reports have claimed that current Chelsea number one Petr Cech will remain in goal for next season, which could result in Courtois staying at Atletico for a fourth loan campaign.
The Belgium international, whose new deal will keep him at Chelsea until 2018, is expected to face his parent club in tonight's Champions League semi-final first leg at the Vicente Calderon.
