Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick have taken to Twitter to congratulate Manchester United teammate Javier Hernandez for his Champions League heroics.
Hernandez was the difference over both legs as the Mexican rolled home an 88th-minute winner in Real Madrid's second-leg quarter-final at home to Atletico Madrid.
The Mexican has struggled in the Spanish capital on his season-long loan from United, starting just six games in all competitions, and his Red Devils colleagues were delighted to see him grab the headlines.
