Manchester United midfielder Adnan Januzaj has vowed to stay at the club after scoring the winner against Aston Villa at Villa Park this evening.
The 20-year-old had reportedly been considering a loan move to Sunderland before the end of the transfer window but his manager Louis van Gaal said yesterday that the Belgian was not for sale.
After the youngster repaid his manager's faith with the winner, the goalscorer insisted that he was not looking for a move away from Old Trafford, dismissing talk of a loan switch to the Stadium of Light as "just rumours".
He told Sky Sports News: "I am happy here and I am going to fight for my place."
Januzaj, who did not even feature as a substitute last weekend against Tottenham Hotspur, has played 57 times for the Red Devils in all competitions, scoring five goals.
