Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly will remain at Old Trafford this month, according to a report.

Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly will reportedly remain at Old Trafford this month despite speculation linking him with a move to AC Milan.

The Italian giants have allegedly identified the Ivory Coast international as the ideal mid-season signing, having lost Simon Kjaer for the rest of the campaign with a serious knee injury.

A recent report claimed that the Serie A outfit were in talks with the Man United centre-back over a move to San Siro for the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the 27-year-old is not expected to leave the 20-time English champions during the January transfer window.

The report claims that Man United are not looking to loan out any players this month, with interim head coach Ralf Rangnick instead focusing on permanent exits.

Bailly, who is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations, has made seven appearances for the Red Devils during the 2021-22 campaign, including four outings in the Premier League.
