Napoli will battle Manchester United and Arsenal for Roma defender Kostas Manolas this summer, according to a report.

Napoli are reportedly preparing to battle Manchester United and Arsenal for the signature of Roma defender Kostas Manolas in this summer's transfer window.

The 27-year-old has been with Roma since 2014, making more than 200 appearances for the Italian side in all competitions.

The Greece international has a contract at the Stadio Olimpico until June 2022 but his future is far from secure amid reports of interest from United and Arsenal.

However, according to Il Tempo, Napoli are also keen to land the centre-back this summer to play alongside Kalidou Koulibaly at the heart of their back four next season.

Manolas, who made 35 appearances for Roma during the 2018-19 season, is believed to have a £31m release clause in his current deal with I Giallorossi.
