Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar has insisted that he has had "a wonderful year" at the club, despite their relegation from the Premier League.
Cesar moved to Loftus Road last summer but he could not prevent his side from being demoted to the Championship.
However, the Brazilian international has revealed that he has enjoyed his time at the Hoops, thanking the club for showing faith in his ability.
The 33-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I had a wonderful year, individually speaking, regardless that the collective is not what I expected.
"I was caught by surprise and my career took a bad turn at Inter and QPR were the only club that came for me and helped me at that moment."
The former Inter Milan stopper has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal.
