Rivaldo: 'Barcelona will beat Real Madrid'

Rivaldo backs his former club Barcelona to beat Real Madrid in Sunday's El Clasico.

Former Barcelona forward Rivaldo believes that his former club's home advantage will be key in Sunday's El Clasico with Real Madrid.

The former Brazil attacker was a key figure for the Catalan club between 1997 and 2002, and he believes that Barcelona will use the Nou Camp to their advantage as they attempt to overcome their fierce rivals.

Rivaldo told Barcelona's official website: "It's a difficult match. You never know what's going to happen because Madrid have a great side and they've won at Camp Nou in the past.

"But playing at home, I think Barcelona will win."

Barcelona will extend their advantage over Real Madrid in the La Liga table to 11 points if they win on Sunday.
