Wolverhampton Wanderers come from two goals down to earn a draw against Shrewsbury Town as they continue their pre-season preparations.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been held to a 2-2 draw at Shrewsbury Town in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday evening.

The hosts started the match well and were ahead after 18 minutes when Terry Gornell finished well from close range.

Wolves' difficult first half continued after the goal and they found themselves further behind before the interval after Marvin Morgan's shot was deflected and sailed past Dorius De Vries.

The visitors made 11 changes during the break and the new arrivals made an instant impact as Sylvan Ebanks-Blake's long-range effort hit a Shrewsbury defender before flying into the net.

New Wolves signing Tongo Doumbia completed the comeback with a fantastic 25-yard shot that earned the Championship side a draw in spectacular fashion.
