Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has revealed that he has settled in London far more quickly than he had expected.

Ozil said that the expectations put on his shoulders as soon as he arrived have actually helped him to focus on his football and not outside influences.

"London is an interesting city to live in," PA quotes Ozil as saying. "I have grown to love the place in a short space of time.

"The guys in the Arsenal team and the coaching staff are fully behind me. They have given me great responsibility and that's what I feel great about."

Ozil has made three appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal since joining the Gunners from Real Madrid on transfer deadline day.
