Arsene Wenger backs Alexis Sanchez to rediscover best form for Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is confident that Alexis Sanchez will soon be back among the goals after a scoreless start to the season.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has backed forward Alexis Sanchez to rediscover his best form after a scoreless start to the season.

Sanchez helped Chile win their first ever Copa America over the summer, but is without a goal in eight matches this term after scoring 25 in his first Gunners season.

Although Wenger admitted that Sanchez has got off to a slower start than expected, he is confident that the Chilean will return to top form soon.

"It takes time to settle and come back to your best," Wenger told reporters. "I'm not worried about Sanchez and I'm confident he will score."

Arsenal travel to face Leicester City, the only unbeaten team left in the Premier League, tomorrow.
