Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists that he is not remotely bothered by sick chants aimed at him by opposition supporters.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that he does not care about abuse directed at him from opposition fans.

The Frenchman is often ridiculed for signing teenagers and then grooming them for first-team football at the Gunners.

The insulting chants hit a new low recently with West Ham United and Manchester United supporters comparing Wenger to Jimmy Savile.

"I know who I am and I'm the only person who matters," he is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

"Honestly, I do not even worry about that anymore, I don't even hear it. When I see my face in the mirror, I can look at it.

"You want respect but I can't master people's abuse."

Wenger was appointed the Arsenal manager in 1996 and has won the Premier League three times.
