Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that it took time to find a good balance within the team, but he is now "happy" with the depth of the squad.
The North London outfit had an inconsistent run of results at the start of the season, and also had numerous injury woes to deal with.
However, in the second half of the season they have emerged as a solid top-four side and have a chance of finishing second as they are currently third in the table, level on points with second-placed Manchester City.
"I am happy with the depth of the squad because I have many top international players who sometimes cannot make the squad," Wenger said in this morning's press conference. "It took us some time to find a good balance in the team and we dropped some points because of that."
Arsenal will face Hull City on Monday.
