Augsburg sign Raul Bobadilla

Basel striker Raul Bobadilla signs a three-year deal with Augsburg.

Bundesliga side Augsburg have completed the signing of Basel forward Raul Bobadilla, formerly of Borussia Monchengladbach.

The Argentine striker, who was with Gladbach from 2009 until January 2012, has agreed terms on a three-year deal with his new club.

"I'm very grateful to FC Augsburg for giving me the chance to play in the Bundesliga again," Bundesliga.com quotes Bobadilla as saying.

"I'm looking forward to it and will give everything to help the team achieve its goals."

Bobadilla scored just once in 10 league games for Basel.
