Luis Enrique pleased with Neymar form

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique says that he is pleased with Neymar's form amid recent criticism of the Brazilian.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has insisted that he is pleased with Neymar's form ahead of what could be a defining week for the Catalan outfit.

On Wednesday, Barca welcome Manchester City in the second leg of their last-16 clash in the Champions League, before Real Madrid travel to Camp Nou in the league on Sunday.

Neymar's recent goal troubles have been discussed in the media, but Enrique has claimed that he has no problems with the Brazilian's form.

"During the season it's impossible for a player to be at 100% all the time so they have good and bad moments. But I am happy with Neymar's performance in general this season," he told reporters.

"I think Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have performed brilliantly all season. But they can't all score a hat-trick at the same time in one match. All the forwards' performances have been excellent."

Neymar has netted 26 goals for Barca this season.
