Pedro: 'We deserved to win'

Barcelona attacker Pedro claims that his side deserved to beat Atletico Madrid at the weekend.

Barcelona attacker Pedro believes that his side deserved to collect all three points in their goalless draw with Atletico Madrid at the weekend.

Neither side created too much of note at the Vicente Calderon, but the Spanish international is of the opinion that Barca should have picked up the win.

"It was a very intense game. We created chances and I think we deserved a little bit more," he told reporters at a press conference.

"We're pleased because we went after the match from the first minute - we knew that we couldn't fail. We had chances to score, but we didn't manage to convert them.

"The Vicente Calderon is a very difficult stadium to play in, the fans really get into the match and that helps Atletico so that's why this is an important point."

Barcelona currently top La Liga on goal difference.
