Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has been ruled out of Saturday's clash away to Borussia Dortmund through injury.

Ribery suffered a broken rib in France's 3-0 win over Ukraine in the World Cup qualifying playoffs and could miss the next week.

"It's obviously disappointing," Bundesliga.com quotes Ribery as saying. "However, I'm sure that the team will manage fine without me this time."

Ribery is likely to miss next week's Champions League game against CSKA Moscow as well, although Bayern have already qualified.
