Marco Reus has admitted that the late drama made Borussia Dortmund's 2-1 win over Wolfsburg even more enjoyable.
Ricardo Rodriguez appeared to earn Wolfsburg a point when he cancelled out a first-half strike from Reus, but Shinji Kagawa restored the Dortmund lead to secure all three points to the delight of his teammate.
"It was an evenly balanced game and we finally picked up three big points," the Germany international told the Bundesliga's official website.
"The match was played at a very high level overall. We were the better team in the first half, but Wolfsburg were after the break.
"It is always frustrating to concede a goal so close to the final whistle but that made it all the nicer that we were able to produce such a great counter-attack, which Shinji finished off."
Dortmund are five points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich.
