Ilkay Gundogan has signed a new one-year contract extension with Borussia Dortmund.
The German international's current deal was due to expire at the end of next season, but now he is committed to the Bundesliga club until June 2016.
The 23-year-old, who joined BVB from Nuremburg in the summer of 2011, has barely played this season after picking up a back injury in August that he is yet to recover from.
Both Manchester United and Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for the central midfielder.
