Celtic defender Adam Matthews has backed the team to improve on their disappointing start to the new Scottish Premiership season.
The defending champions are currently six points behind leaders Hamilton Academical after losing two of their opening eight games of the campaign.
However, Matthews is confident that he and his teammates are good enough to push themselves higher up the table in the coming weeks.
"It's a bad start for us but with the players we have, we can put a good run together and I'm sure we can climb back up the league," he told Celtic View. "We just need to keep calm, keep doing what we are doing in training and then do that when we play at the weekend."
Celtic continue the defence of their title on Saturday with a trip to Ross County.
