Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland has reportedly decided that he would like to join Liverpool later in his career.
Since returning from a serious ankle injury, Butland has re-established himself as number one at the Potters and is in contention to replace Joe Hart as first-choice stopper for England.
However, Butland is already weighing up a transfer to a bigger club during the summer and according to Football.London, the 24-year-old wants to join Liverpool.
Chelsea have previously been linked with an approach for Butland due to the uncertainty surrounding Thibaut Courtois, who is said to want a transfer to Real Madrid at some point during the next 18 months.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp allegedly does not see Butland as a top target ahead of next season, but it appears that the goalkeeper would prefer a switch to Anfield over Stamford Bridge.
Butland still has three and a half years remaining on his contract at the bet365 Stadium.
