Chelsea do not fear that Callum Hudson-Odoi will leave the club despite the teenager not yet signing a new deal, according to a report.

Chelsea are reportedly confident that Callum Hudson-Odoi will sign a new long-term contract with the club.

The 18-year-old, who is yet to feature for the Blues this season due to an Achilles injury, will see his current deal with Frank Lampard's side expire at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.

Bayern Munich were strongly linked with a move for Hudson-Odoi in January amid suggestions that the teenager was keen to leave Stamford Bridge in search of pastures new.

However, according to football.london, the Premier League club now have 'no fears' that the England international will leave as a fresh deal is set to be announced.

Chelsea are reportedly preparing to hand the youngster a new five-year contract which could be worth in the region of £180,000 a week to reflect his importance to the club.

Hudson-Odoi, who has been with the Blues since the age of six, is expected to make his return from an Achilles injury later this month.
