Chelsea reportedly have no intention of selling Christian Pulisic to a Premier League rival amid links with Liverpool.
The former Borussia Dortmund man has had his injury problems since arriving at Stamford Bridge but has also struggled to become a consistent part of Thomas Tuchel's plans when fit.
Amid his lack of starts, Pulisic has been tipped to complete a move away from Chelsea in 2022, with Barcelona and Liverpool both linked with a swoop.
However, El Nacional claims that Chelsea do not wish to sell to a direct domestic rival, seemingly handing Barcelona a boost in their pursuit of the American.
La Blaugrana's financial issues may end up presenting a roadblock in any deal, though, as the report adds that Chelsea will not sanction a sale for anything less than €50m (£42.2m) in straight cash.
Pulisic has only played 115 minutes of Premier League football this season due to injury, although he has banked two goals in the process.
The 23-year-old boasts a total of 19 goals and 14 assists in 83 games for the European champions and is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2024.
