Chile star Alexis Sanchez has criticised the attitude of the Uruguay players following Tuesday's 2018 World Cup qualifier in Montevideo.
Sanchez, who helped Chile win the Copa America in the summer, was on the end of a 3-0 defeat, which included seven players receiving cautions and Jorge Valdivia getting sent off after the final whistle.
On Instagram, Sanchez wrote: "It is necessary to be able to win and to lose [well] and I speak when I lose and when I win, but what bothers me is that current and ex-Uruguay players, and others that I do not even know, speak without recognising when they lose and that bothers me.
"Today we lost and I congratulate them ... It's goodbye from the champions of the Americas."
Sanchez will return to his club Arsenal for this weekend's Premier League match against West Bromwich Albion.
