Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew will reportedly approach former club Newcastle United to sign Tim Krul.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper worked with Pardew during his five-year stint as Newcastle manager, and it is thought that the Palace boss is a big admirer.
The Netherlands international came through the ranks at St James' Park and made his debut for the Magpies in 2006.
Pardew is said to be in the market for a new goalkeeper, with Julian Speroni out of contract in the summer and yet to agree fresh terms with the Eagles.
According to The Sun, the Palace chief is keen to bring Krul to Selhurst Park and is prepared to pay £10m to make that happen.
Krul has made 170 appearances for Newcastle in all competitions.
