Fulham striker Hugo Rodallega has shared his relief after scoring his first Fulham goal against former club Wigan Athletic last week.
Rodallega had gone five games without a goal since moving to Craven Cottage, but ended the drought in Fulham's 2-1 success at the DW Stadium.
The 27-year-old told the Evening Standard that he is looking to form a strong understanding with new strike partner Dimitar Berbatov.
He said: "Berbatov is an experienced player who has been at amazing clubs such as Manchester United and Tottenham. That inspires me to play.
"I want the combination to work as good as possible. I know the loss of Clint Dempsey and Mousa Dembele was a big thing but with my partnership with Berbatov I want to make up for that loss."
The Colombian gets another chance to impress Fulham fans this weekend when the West London side host reigning champions Manchester City.
