Joaquin Caparros has been appointed as the new Granada manager on a two-year contract.
It was revealed on Tuesday that the Spaniard had departed his position with Levante after failing to agree a contract extension.
Talk gathered pace last night that Granada were preparing a move and that has now been confirmed via a statement on their official website.
"Granada CF announces that Sevillano manager, Joaquin Caparros, will direct operations from the rojiblanco bench for the next two seasons. The club and the manager have also reserved the option of a third year of contract," read the statement.
Caparros led Levante into 10th place during the 2013-14 season.
