Hertha Berlin boss Jos Luhukay has suggested that he will attempt to sign midfielder Tolga Cigerci on a permanent basis at the end of the season.
Cigerci, who is currently on a season-long loan deal from Wolfsburg, has made six Bundesliga appearances for Hertha this campaign.
"We usually do not have to talk about that with regard to Tolga Cigerci at this point in time," Luhukay told Berliner Kurier on the subject of a permanent deal for the 21-year-old.
"This decision will be taken during the second phase of the season. But Tolga Cigerci is getting better from match to match. He works hard, he is a good football player. We are happy to have him."
Cigerci has represented Germany five times at Under-19 level.
