Corinthians midfielder Paulinho has said that he is not interested in a move to Inter Milan.
The 23-year-old, who helped Timao to their first Copa Libertadores title earlier this month, has been linked with a move to the San Siro this summer.
However, the Brazil international has now said that he wants to stay in his homeland.
Paulinho said that he wants the situation cleared up so that he can concentrate on playing for Corinthians.
"Corinthians are doing everything they can to keep me," Paulinho told fcinternews.it. "I want to remain here and I hope that my future is resolved as soon as possible so that I can play without having any distractions.
"Inter have not spoken directly with me but they have spoken to my representatives. I want to reward Corinthians for their willingness to keep me.
"Wherever I go, I will nevertheless win. It's not a money issue, I just want to play football."
Paulinho signed for Corinthians from lower league side Bragantino in 2010.
