Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri admits that he is happy with his side's "disorganised" win in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

Massimiliano Allegri has admitted that he is pleased with Juventus's win over AS Monaco in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie, despite describing his side as "disorganised".

The French side dominated at times, but a second-half penalty from Arturo Vidal handed the Serie A champions a 1-0 win in Turin.

The coach told UEFA.com: "It was precarious at times and we've got to improve the defensive parts and do better with the chances we create.

"I'm pleased with the result, and the performance at times. Whether you play well for 90 or 50 minutes doesn't matter if you get the result, but we were a bit disorganised at the start."

The sides meet again at Stade Louis II next Wednesday.
