Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has said that he is "saddened" by the criticism of Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce by his club's own supporters.
A section of the Newcastle fans again called for Bruce to leave the club during the latter stages of last weekend's 4-1 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The pressure is growing on the former Manchester United captain amid a difficult start to the season, and Bielsa has said that there are few things worse in management than supporters turning on their own boss.
"I always feel saddened when this happens to a manager and the own fans go against them. It's one of the worst feelings that a manager can have," Bielsa told reporters.
Newcastle have picked up just one point from their opening four matches of the 2021-22 Premier League season to occupy 19th position in the table.
Leeds, meanwhile, sit 17th in the division with two points, with the Whites also finding it difficult to show their best form in the early stages of the new season.
