Luke Varney has left crisis club Portsmouth to join Leeds United by signing a two-year deal.
Pompey have to sell all of their top earners in order to reduce spending as they look to rebuild under Michael Appleton in League One.
Varney was one of those and his move to Leeds has been on the cards for some time after he said that he would hold out for a move to Elland Road.
Varney becomes the eighth new face at Elland Road this summer, following Rodolph Austin, Jason Pearce, Adam Drury, Paul Green, Paddy Kenny, Andy Gray and Jamie Ashdown to Yorkshire.
