Kevin Mirallas wants derby win

Kevin Mirallas insists that he wants an Everton win in his first Merseyside derby.

Everton forward Kevin Mirallas is targeting a win in his first Merseyside derby.

The Belgian international has impressed so far for the Toffees but knows that a good performance against Liverpool is what the fans want.

"I am feeling great," Mirallas told Everton's official website. "I am playing all the games and the coach trusts me. I have been lucky enough to score and assist.

"I'm aware that this is one of the hottest derbies in England, and one of the most important ones. For the fans it's the most important game of the year.

"It's the first one in the calendar. We have lost the last two or three derbies so we want a win on Sunday."

Everton welcome Liverpool to Goodison Park at 1.30pm this afternoon.
