Liverpool are confident that they will be able to keep hold of Mohamed Salah amid interest from Juventus, according to a report.

Liverpool are reportedly confident that they will be able to keep hold of Mohamed Salah.

Last week it was reported that Juventus were lining up a £175m move for Salah, with Cristiano Ronaldo keen for the Egypt international to join him in Turin.

Having lost the likes of Luis Suarez in the past, Liverpool supporters were seemingly fearful that their star player could exit Anfield at the end of the campaign.

However, according to The Express, Liverpool 'are no longer a selling club' and are confident of 'resisting any offer' which might arrive for the former Roma attacker in this summer's transfer window.

Salah has scored 64 times in 86 appearances for his English club since a 2017 arrival from Roma.

The player only recently signed a contract extension with the Reds, which runs until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
