Liverpool are reportedly willing to make Mohamed Salah the Premier League's highest earner by offering him a new contract worth £430,000 per week.
Salah has become one of the top flight's leading players since arriving at Anfield in 2017, winning the Golden Boot in both of his seasons with the club scoring 72 goals in 107 games across all competitions.
According to The Sun, Real Madrid had shown an interest earlier this summer, but this new deal will put any transfer talk to bed.
The Egyptian signed his current contract as recently as 2018, but the Reds will give him another pay increase to stay at Anfield.
The 27-year-old scored in Liverpool's season opener against Norwich last week, before also netting his penalty in the victorious UEFA Super Cup shootout against Chelsea on Wednesday.
Salah is expected to feature as the Reds travel to St Mary's to face Southampton on Saturday.
