Neil Warnock has claimed that Rangers are valuing Nikica Jelavic too highly as they look to gain £10m from the sale of the striker.
West Ham United and Liverpool have both been linked with the Croatian but Rangers have rejected all enquiries so far.
However, Warnock believes that the Scottish club will struggle to tempt any potential suitors if they continue to price the striker at £10m.
"I know what Rangers value him at. But whether they get anywhere near that is another matter," he told the Daily Mail.
"I don't know, other people might see it differently. People always want strikers, especially at this time of year. It comes down to whatever someone thinks he is worth."
Warnock is currently out of a job after recently being sacked by Queens Park Rangers.
