The 21-year-old has agreed a two-year extension to his current deal, that will keep him at the Stade de Gerland until 2019.
Highly-rated midfielder Jordan Ferri has also extended his contract with Les Gones until 2020.
The two players have both come through the youth ranks at Lyon and have represented France at Under-21 level.
