Brahim Diaz 'chooses Real Madrid number'

Brahim Diaz has already chosen his Real Madrid number as the Spaniard nears a move to the Bernabeu, according to a report.

Brahim Diaz has reportedly 'already chosen his Real Madrid number' as the Spaniard nears a move to the Bernabeu.

Diaz will see his current deal with Manchester City expire at the end of the season, and the 19-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium.

According to Marca, Diaz has already expressed an interest to take the vacant number 21 shirt with Madrid, suggesting that a switch to the Spanish capital is imminent.

Versatile attacker Diaz, who has represented Spain at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 levels, has not made a Premier League appearance for City this season.

However, the teenager has scored twice in three EFL Cup appearances for the Citizens this term.
