West Ham United defender Aaron Cresswell has emerged as a transfer target for reigning Premier League champions Manchester City, according to reports.
The 25-year-old has impressed at Upton Park since joining from Ipswich Town in a £4m deal last summer.
His performances have caught the attention of Manuel Pellegrini, who sees Cresswell as a possible long-term successor to Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolarov, claims The Mirror.
Cresswell, who began his career at Tranmere Rovers before making the switch to Portman Road, is being widely tipped to break into the England set up in the near future.
