Eliaquim Mangala has urged Manchester City to make a move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.
The 22-year-old is rumoured to be at the centre of a £60m tug-of-war between the Citizens and European giants Barcelona.
France international Mangala is not surprised to see Pogba earning so much attention, hinting that his compatriot should make a switch to the Etihad Stadium.
"He's a great player who has everything," he told The Sun. "Manchester City or any team would love to have him in their ranks.
"I know him well, not just from the Under-21s, but also the full French national squad. He's a great lad, very mature - both on and off the field.
"For somebody so young, he has experienced a lot with the Serie A titles he has won and [will appear in] the Champions League final this year."
Pogba spent three years at Manchester United, although after making just three senior appearances he set sail for Juventus in 2012.
