Manchester United defender Jonny Evans has praised the impact of teammate Tyler Blackett in his breakthrough season with the club.
The 20-year-old - on United's books since the age of eight - enjoyed a solid pre-season campaign and has subsequently started all three of their Premier League outings so far.
"He's also a very strong and powerful lad, and it's surprised me how good his passing has been. He's done really well," Evans told the club's official website.
"I've been very impressed. He's left-footed so it's been good for the balance on the left-hand side.
"I think, from the first week of pre-season, you could tell he was going to get a chance in the first team because he came back and hit the ground running which was good to see."
The Red Devils, still chasing their first victory this season, host Queens Park Rangers at Old Trafford this afternoon.
